Mary Kay is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s in Counseling Education. A professional counselor since 1986, she has an extensive background working with children and adult survivors of trauma. Her area of specialty include abuse, anxiety, children of divorce, depression, grief, individual and family issues, school related problems and trauma.
She has been a specialized sexual abuse therapist with the Child Protection Tam program for more than five years and currently runs two groups for the Sexual Abuse Treatment Program as well as treating individuals and family survivors of abuse.
Mrs. Young utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy as well as EMDR, Sand Tray Therapy, Play Therapy and other methods in her practice.
