Kalena earned her master’s degree in mental health counseling from Capella University. She is a veteran and served as a mental health specialist for 7 years in the U.S. Army. Kalena has more than 10 years of experience and has work with a wide variety of individuals (children and adults) helping them to adjust to and maneuver through life’s up downs and everything in between. Kalena’s counseling strengths include serving individuals who may be struggling with:

Kalena also has experience with play therapy and trauma-focused care. She is a person-centered clinician and believes in working with individuals to help them identify and explore all their options and possibilities.

Although she has done some traveling being a military family, Jacksonville has been home to her and her family for several years.
